Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the appointment schedule for the psychiatrist and mental health therapists
Communicate with clients to schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and accurate information
Handle appointment inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing exceptional customer service to all clients
Verify clients' insurance coverage and benefits prior to their appointments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
Obtain insurance authorizations for therapy services as required by insurance providers
Assist clients in understanding their insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket expenses
Prepare and submit insurance claims for therapy services provided by the psychiatrist and mental health therapists
Monitor and track insurance claims to ensure timely payment and follow up on any denied or pending claims
Work collaboratively with insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies
Maintain and update clients' electronic health records accurately and securely
Ensure that all documentation complies with clinic policies and relevant legal and ethical standards
Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
Help with answering phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and providing information to clients as needed
Collaborate effectively with other administrative staff, therapists, and the psychiatrist to support the overall clinic operations
Foster a positive and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike

Required
