Reliability Engineer

Arconic is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their Corporate Manufacturing Technology Engineering Team. The role focuses on implementing Reliability Excellence systems across multiple Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants, driving a culture of reliability and identifying opportunities for improvement in equipment reliability and productivity.

Responsibilities

Drive, coach and implement Reliability Excellence systems across multiple Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants with the business
Develop standards, coach implementation of Equipment Reliability system components such as Defect Elimination, Criticality Analysis, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, CMMS
Condition-based Monitoring and Reliability Centered Maintenance
Drive the culture and ownership of Reliability across the enterprise
Identify and report to the Business Units the opportunities for improvement in OEE and productivity
Leverage other resources within Manufacturing Technology and Engineering team as well as other resources such as IT and Finance to drive effective and sustainable change in Equipment Reliability
Major Customers include Business Unit, Operation and Maintenance Managers in Rolled Products and Extrusions
This role may require up to 50% travel

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
5 years' experience in Equipment Reliability, Maintenance, or Engineering
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements

Failure Mode Error Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Equipment asset Hierarchies
Leadership and facilitation of multi-disciplinary Improvement Teams in a manufacturing environment
Data analysis, visualization and reporting
Skilled and experienced in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Strong leadership, team building and facilitation skills
