Tenure Track, Assistant or Associate, Mechanical Engineering
The University of St. Thomas is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Establish and maintain an active research program
Qualification
Required
A PhD (U.S. or foreign equivalent degree) in a relevant Engineering discipline is required
A clearly articulated vision for advancing a research program
Demonstrable skills necessary for excellence in teaching
For candidates whose primary experience is in the engineering industry (outside of academia), skill in teaching may be demonstrated based on other professional experiences which require leadership, mentorship and presentation skills
Preferred
ABD will be considered
Candidates nearing the completion of their PhD will discuss a timeline for Ph.D. completion during the interview process
Special consideration in the areas of dynamics, robotics and automation
