Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage functional networks (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, Firewalls)
Configure, install and manage various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Monitor network performance and ensure optimal speed and functionality
Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely resolutions
Manage and optimize in-house and cloud-based networks in Azure and Alibaba Cloud
Develop and implement network security protocols to protect data, software, and hardware
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
Plan for and respond to service outages and other network problems
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
Ability to be in office 4 days a week
Qualification
Required
5+ years' relevant experience working in a technical support capacity
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Solid understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS)
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Professional certification (e.g., CCNP) is preferred
Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) is a plus
Knowledge of VMware and Operating System (Windows Server 2019, 2022, etc) is a plus
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)
