Lead Contracts Analyst

Responsibilities
Manage complex contract negotiations supporting Data Center build-out and construction (tenant improvements) as well as Networking master contracts (focus on Legal terms)
Negotiate country-specific agreements under a global master to implement local laws/regulations where necessary
Perform contract review and analysis to determine contract obligations, requirements and remedies
Assist in preparing and drafting contract and service order documents
Work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to meet business operation and cost objectives
Managing complex negotiations of legal terms in both global and country-specific contracts
Conducting gap analysis of existing versus new contracts with a supplier
Project managing the contract lifecycle from the beginning of a negotiation through to contract execution and performance
Review of service orders under existing master contracts to ensure there are no deviations to governing terms
Successful relationship building with both key internal stakeholders and a variety of suppliers across multiple global regions
Ability to write executive level summaries seeking approval of key non-standard terms prior to contract execution
Qualification
Required
Law degree (JD) and at least five (5) years of applicable legal experience required
Manage complex contract negotiations supporting Data Center build-out and construction (tenant improvements) as well as Networking master contracts (focus on Legal terms)
Negotiate country-specific agreements under a global master to implement local laws/regulations where necessary
Perform contract review and analysis to determine contract obligations, requirements and remedies
Assist in preparing and drafting contract and service order documents
Work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to meet business operation and cost objectives
Knowledge of the Data Center and Telecommunication (network) industry
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully build relationships and influence individuals both up and down the organizational hierarchy
Legal project management experience in-house or in a lawfirm
Ability to deal with potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy and tact
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Self-motivated to work independently to deliver positive business results
Confidently and appropriately exercise sound legal and business judgment
Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders on a regional, global, and/or virtual basis
Strong organizational skills to manage and successfully complete tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Ability to meet business critical deadlines and work effectively in a team environment

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
