Responsibilities

Assist engineers with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges and structures

Support project teams with preparing plans, reports, and calculations

Perform fieldwork including bridge inspections and data collection, as needed

Conduct research and apply engineering principles to solve real-world design challenges

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a professional engineering environment

Required

Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program

Strong interest in bridge and transportation engineering

Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to engineering software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, or structural analysis programs) is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
