GLOBAL R&M TECHNICAL LEAD
Weatherford is a global leader in oilfield services, and they are seeking an R&M Technical Lead to drive technical governance across major service product lines. Responsibilities
Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct
Ensure compliance with company Security, Compliance, HSE policies, and industry regulations
Promote a culture of safety and environmental protection
Demonstrate effective safety leadership for all team members and visitors
Adhere to and promote Weatherford’s Quality policies
Prioritize service quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Lead the Global Technical Governance Group for R&M across all major service product lines
Establish a self-governing team to align methods, tools, and systems while maintaining product line uniqueness
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Lines to develop and refine technical processes and procedures
Overhaul and standardize all R&M technical work instructions, integrating digitalization and structural guidance
Champion the rollout of a modernized R&M system
Simplify, standardize, and digitize technical instructions
Integrate lessons learned and failure data into processes
Ensure seamless implementation and adherence in R&M workshops
Align with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and effectiveness of technical instructions
Develop governance protocols for managing technical documentation lifecycle
Lead global rollout of technical processes and procedures
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities
Ensure financial accountability and adherence to budget and policy
Process expenses within approved timelines and procedures
Take ownership of personal career development through training and performance discussions
Engage regularly with line managers to review objectives and growth opportunities
Support talent management through coaching, assessments, and succession planning
Collaborate with HR and Training to attract and retain top talent
Demonstrate ethical leadership and uphold Weatherford standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in R&M, Technical Services, or Product Line Operations (preferably in oilfield services or energy)
At least 5 years in a leadership role managing global or multi-regional teams
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Deep technical knowledge of R&M processes and documentation
Strategic thinker focused on standardization and continuous improvement
Proven ability to lead change and implement governance frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Proven success in process simplification, standardization, and digital transformation
Experience in cross-functional collaboration to align technical practices
