Responsibilities
Lead the effort of building distributed, scalable, high-performance generative AI service
Investigate model structure to optimize model performance and scalability
Build state of art systems with innovative technologies in this fast evolving area
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or Masters conversion in a software-related subject (or equivalent experience)
At least 7 years' experience as a software engineer/developer
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of related work experience
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in developing distributed, fault tolerant, scalable applications
Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go Lang
Proficient understanding of Continuous Integration and deployment and tools chain like GIT, Maven, Jenkins/Teamcity, etc
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals
Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive
Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
Proven experience and knowledge around cloud infrastructure
Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
Self-motivated and proactive, able to learn quickly and apply new concepts, tools and applications
Proven track record in mentoring and leading junior engineers

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
