They are offering a summer internship for the Controls Engineering Department, where interns will work with various engineering and technical teams under the guidance of experienced Controls Engineers.

Responsibilities

Setup EthernetIP communications on Rockwell based control components

Install PLC programming stored on a Bradbury Network drive into a completed machine using software and hardware located on our production floor

Tune motion control systems that could include Linear or Rotary servo motors or Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) controlling induction motors

Perform Installation and setup of Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminals applications

Show programs written in C# in a Microsoft Windows environment

Show and explain PLC logic written in Rockwell Automation’s RSLogix Studio platform

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Able to respond to instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Basic shop knowledge - manufacturing processes

Currently working towards an associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology or related field

Or currently working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
