Legal Administrative - Assistant Manager
Gurstel Law Firm P.C. is a thriving multi-state litigation firm seeking a dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant Manager to join their team. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating supportive services, supervising staff, and ensuring operational excellence within the legal administration.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Day-to-day operations of the Administrative Department
Involvement in staffing decision
Interact frequently with attorneys
Interacts regularly and comprehensively with other departments
Time and attendance tracking
Troubleshooting of problem files
Create, maintain, and review SOPs to comply with internal and external standards
Training new and existing staff
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Paralegal certificate or 4-year college degree. (experience may be substituted for education)
1-year supervision experience
Have a high level of attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment
Responsible individual who is able to work both independently and in a team environment
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, PDF and WordPerfect
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time; bend, lift, or carry up to 20 pounds; answer and make telephone calls; utilize keyboard and mouse
Preferred
An individual versed in the Legal Collections Process preferred
Familiarity with CLS is a plus
