Loan Officer

As a Loan Officer, you will own your pipeline end-to-end and play a direct role in driving revenue growth through outbound sales and relationship building.

Responsibilities

Prospect and call real estate investors to generate new business
Consistently meet inbound and outbound activity goals (calls, follow-ups, outreach)
Build and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral partners
Pre-qualify borrowers for available loan programs
Negotiate loan rates and terms within defined guidelines
Assess deal viability and risk factors in collaboration with internal teams
Maintain active communication with borrowers throughout the loan process
Coordinate with processing and servicing teams to move loans to funding
Manage pipeline activity to ensure quality, accuracy, and momentum
Participate in required meetings and ongoing training
Expand knowledge of products, policies, and underwriting requirements
Support business development through events and direct-to-consumer activities

Required

Proven success in a quota-driven or performance-oriented sales role
Comfort with outbound prospecting and direct conversations
Strong negotiation skills and confidence discussing financial terms
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize follow-up
Willingness to learn structured lending products and operate within defined guidelines
Strong communication skills and professional judgment
Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

Prior experience as a Loan Officer or in mortgage or private money lending
Familiarity with fix-and-flip, DSCR, or investor-focused loan products
An existing network of real estate investors or referral partners
Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) or loan origination software
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
