They are seeking an Engineering Co-op to assist the Production Team in achieving safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives at their Mosinee, Wisconsin plant during the Spring Semester of 2026.

Responsibilities
Must follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects by conducting trials including development of trial plans and authoring trial reports
Assist with machine shutdowns and start-ups
Assist and/or lead safety, productivity, quality, efficiency, cost control, compliance, and housekeeping projects
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Actively pursuing a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree program
Living in or willing to relocate to the Mosinee, Wisconsin area from January – August 2026
Ability to work full-time for the duration of the position
Strong desire to work within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities
