Responsibilities
Assist SGM and Deputy TT as UAS/CUAS SME, collaborating with partners to develop new tools and technology for SOF UAS/CUAS
Prepare and develop requirements documentation (ICDs, CDDs, SPECAT, BOIPs, Test Plans, project folders)
Analyze operational requirements for UAS payloads, derive technical requirements, and design/prototype CUAS solutions
Lead or support build, deployment, and sustainment of UAS/CUAS solutions on aggressive timelines
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10+ years in unmanned systems, RF engineering, or CUAS-related disciplines, including 3–5+ years designing or integrating UAS/CUAS solutions
Background in project management, engineering science, CAD programming, RF theory, basic circuit design, additive manufacturing, and CNC machining
Knowledge of UAS/CUAS TTPs in the SOF community and experience with non-standard/SOF assets
Preferred
Hands-on experience designing custom UAS platforms or effectors for CUAS missions
