Start in 2026 SummerTractor Supply Company is currently hiring for their 2026 Merchandising Summer Internship Program at their Store Support Center in Brentwood, TN. This internship is designed for students interested in retail merchandising, providing hands-on experience in areas such as product development, buying team support, and data analytics.

Responsibilities
Support the operations of our buying teams to understand their unique needs and contribute to product selection, procurement, and vendor relationships
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market, conduct market research, and provide insights to enhance our product offerings
Contribute to the planning and execution of special merchandising events and promotions, both in-store and online
Assist in setting plan-o-grams, executing space planning strategies, and optimizing product placement to enhance the in-store shopping experience and maximize sales
Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights, monitor key performance indicators, and make data driven recommendations
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in operations management, retail merchandising, consumer science, marketing, data analytics, or a related field
Ideally, a junior, senior, or graduate student, although sophomores with a strong interest in retail and merchandising, is encouraged to apply
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment
Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship
Preferred
Customer-orientation and desire to support a retail organization
