Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Procurement
Cumberland Farms is a leading convenience retailer in the United States, and they are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Indirect Procurement. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies across various indirect categories, optimizing spend, ensuring supplier performance, and driving value through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for assigned indirect categories to achieve cost savings, improve service levels, and ensure quality and compliance
Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and secure contracts that deliver value across quality, service, and cost
Conduct market analysis to understand trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities within the procurement landscape
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring alignment of procurement strategies with business goals
Identify and deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process optimization
Oversee the contract lifecycle from development to renewal, ensuring contracts deliver expected value and comply with company policies
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement activities
Incorporate sustainability and diversity objectives into procurement strategies, promoting responsible sourcing practices
Provide regular reports and analysis on category performance, savings achieved, and market intelligence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a category management role focused on indirect procurement
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of procurement software and systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel independently 5%
Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
