Responsibilities
Act as a partner to our Commercial Leadership team including Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and US Sales Leadership guiding decision-making for The Knot and WeddingWire marketplaces
Partner with the Pricing and Monetization leader to model, test, and analyze the financial impact of new business models and pricing strategies
Own the financial modeling for all Go-to-Market motions continuously analyzing and reporting on key unit economic indicators such as LTV:CAC, CAC Payback Period, and Sales Efficiency
Drive deep-dive cohort analyses to enhance the understanding of performance, developing new ways to view the business and track results
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decisions, investment ROI, and other high-impact initiatives
Assist in preparing and presenting financial analysis and key metrics for management, the Board of Directors, and investors
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on resource allocation including headcount planning and expense management to drive efficient growth
Lead ad-hoc, in-depth financial analysis and reporting projects to provide critical decision support for commercial leadership
Champion the adoption of automation and AI tools within the finance function to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities
Qualification
Required
8+ years of increasing responsibility in highly analytical roles such as Strategic Finance, Go-to-Market Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Data Science, or Management Consulting (or 6+ years showing rapid career acceleration)
MBA and a Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, STEM, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Statistics)
Deep understanding of competitive dynamics and the broader industry landscape; ability to connect daily operational decisions to long-term strategic goals
Proven ability to build, refine, and maintain sophisticated financial models for existing businesses and new ventures
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think creatively and critically about unstructured problems
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capacity to translate complex technical analysis into a clear, compelling narrative that effectively influences C-level executives and non-finance stakeholders
Confidence and skill to present effectively, describe complex deliverables, and communicate effectively with Senior Leadership
Highly collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills and a positive contributor to the team environment
High-energy self-starter who is dedicated to driving toward goals and seeks new ways to assess and visualize data/performance that scales effectively
Thrives in constant change and is able to work independently to manage multiple priorities, consistently delivering high-quality, precise work even under pressure and tight deadlines
