Internal Medicine GME Clinic Preceptor

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Clinic Preceptor in the Internal Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) Continuity of Care Clinic. This role involves supervising and mentoring internal medicine residents in an outpatient academic setting while also managing a panel of patients.

Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in a continuity of care outpatient clinic along with other preceptors
Physician will work with resident physicians as well as see their own panel of patients on select days
Support residents’ academic and clinical growth through effective teaching and mentorship

Qualification

Board Certification in Internal MedicineActive Florida medical licenseTeaching experienceClinical skillsCommitment to educationCommunication skillsMentorship abilities

Required

Board Certification in Internal Medicine
Active, unrestricted Florida medical license in good standing
Previous experience required teaching residents in a clinical setting
Strong clinical, communication, and teaching abilities
A commitment to academic excellence and fostering medical education
