Supply Chain Planner

TRUBAR INC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to manage the end-to-end planning of materials and finished goods across internal and external manufacturing networks. The role involves material requirements planning, coordination with third-party co-manufacturers, and ensuring operational excellence across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Generate and maintain accurate material plans to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to meet production demand
Coordination with Third-Party Co-Manufacturers: Collaborate with external co-mans to align on material needs, delivery schedules, and production timelines. Monitor inventory usage at co-manufacturing sites and ensure timely replenishment and reconciliation
Inbound Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound material shipments with suppliers, freight carriers, and warehouses to ensure timely delivery. Resolve shipping issues and support optimization of transportation and receiving processes
ERP Master Data Management: Own the creation and maintenance of material and master data, as well as BOMS within the ERP system. Ensure key information (e.g., lead times, MOQs, sourcing, and other planning parameters) is accurate and up to date to support reliable planning outcomes
Strategic Procurement & COGS Support: Provide long-term material volume forecasts for strategic material families to support procurement strategy, sourcing negotiations, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) initiatives. Work closely with Procurement and Finance to support supplier engagement and cost planning
Finished Goods Inventory Planning: Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels of finished goods across the network to meet customer service level targets while minimizing excess or obsolete stock
Participate in S&OP processes and cross-functional planning meetings
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including, inventory turnover, but not limited to on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, and material availability
Identify and address supply constraints or risks to ensure consistent service levels
Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
3+ years of experience in supply planning, material coordination, or related supply chain roles
Hands-on experience managing ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) including master data management
Strong understanding of inventory control, inbound logistics, and supplier management
Skilled in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis for planning and reporting purposes
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
APICS/CPIM certification is a plus

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or consumer goods (CPG) environments
Familiarity with COGS programs, supplier volume planning, and S&OP processes
Knowledge of Lean, just-in-time (JIT), or demand-driven supply planning methods
