Responsibilities

Conduct on-site and virtual demonstrations of Hexagon’s portable metrology solutions, including portable arms, laser trackers, and 3D scanning systems
Support regional sales teams by preparing demo setups, proving out measurement processes, and showcasing product capabilities
Provide customer training on software operation, equipment setup, and best practices in portable metrology
Perform contract measurement services for customers, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and professional service
Contribute to documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge sharing
Collaborate with senior engineers to continuously improve processes and provide product feedback
Stay current with new technologies, software updates, and metrology techniques

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or metrology preferred
Basic understanding of 3D measurement principles or coordinate metrology is a plus
Familiarity with metrology software (PC-DMIS, Inspire, Spatial Analyzer, PolyWorks, etc.) is an advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to travel up to 70% (primarily within the U.S., with occasional international travel to Canada or Mexico)
Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
Manual dexterity for operating computers and metrology equipment
Ability to work in both office and customer manufacturing environments; PPE provided as required
