Responsibilities
Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation schedules so that servers receive an appropriate number of seating’s
Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers’ concerns are addressed
Receive and manage reservations ahead of service each event
Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored
Knowledgeable on all menu offerings
Follows set up and break down processes efficiently
Understands all event paperwork and reports
Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques
Adheres to location appearance guidelines
Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism
Employs good safety and sanitation practices
Follows responsible alcohol service policies
Understands the importance of maintaining equipment and executes accordingly
Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided
Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed
Helps fellow employees whenever necessary
Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations
Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day
Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly
Performs other duties as assigned

Required
Desire to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry
Ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional
Dedicated to providing exceptional experience
Ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English
Ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance
