Responsibilities

Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended installation procedures and specifications
Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems, shortages and inefficiencies in job-site conditions
Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned
Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction
Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification
Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling)
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training

Required

3-5 years' experience of direct industry, store front door installation or relevant industry experience, Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware etc
Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus)
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively

Preferred

Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware
