The role involves designing and drafting customized solutions based on customer requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities
Perform design and drafting duties for Engineer-to-order department
Ensure drawings are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Ensure drawings are compliant with relevant standards and specifications
Communicate regularly with production shop floor regarding any manufacturability or quality issues
Interact with customers both internally and externally during the design and approval process
Author and manage Engineering Change Orders as appropriate
Manage own drawing schedule in a fast-paced environment while designing various product types
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in drafting and design
Need strong working experience in engineering design and proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD packages (ideally Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks)
Experience in Engineering Change Management (ideally Autodesk Vault and SAP Fiori)
Experience reading and interpreting structural drawings
Understanding of dynamic mechanical and electrical systems
Steel fabrication drafting and design experience
Experience in SAP ERP software
Experience in MS Office Products
Must have excellent communication, writing, and verbal skills
