Responsibilities
Ability to comprehend basic mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form
Ability/knowledge of electrical equipment and/or painting methods, hand and power tool usage
Apply knowledge of basic electro-mechanical theory and components to test/verify subcomponents, cell configurations, point to point wire verification and various subassemblies
Follow directions to configure equipment and associated wiring to test low voltage and medium voltage breakers per engineering documents for refurbishments and new builds
Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, or connectors
Ability to Operate electrical/electronic test equipment
Plan, lay out, assemble or fabricate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years relevant experience with demonstrated electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills
Specific knowledge of electrical or mechanical drawings, assembly, and wiring
Preferred
Nuclear industry experience preferred
