Responsibilities

Serve as an equal partner with Commercial, Division Engineering & Technology to create a shared understanding of the program, business case and related core assumptions. Collaborate across roles & responsibilities with shared objectives, metrics and deliverables
Develop manufacturing end state view with regards to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery
Define and deliver technical readiness ensuring a manufacturing ready solution is being implemented and a strategy to achieve desired end state is communicated
Work with program leads to ensure workstreams address all manufacturing needs required to achieve operational readiness (Safety, Manufacturing systems, Lean, staffing, PQA, Process Understanding and Control, Materials, etc)
Define and deliver Operational readiness required to deliver products and services to the customer. This includes implementing business processes/systems that enable accurate and timely information flow and material/product flow through the manufacturing system and value chain
Define and Implement targets and real time metrics that link individual performance to program metrics
Develop appropriate start-up plans, pilot operations, and/or subsequent scale up plans that can provide what the customer wants, when they want it, recognizing changes in scale may require changes to process, manufacturing systems, or locations. Integrate detail from Plan of Record to recognize product generational changes over time
Evaluate product and process ramp against target performance and identify gaps
Ensure high-volume scale-up operations can comply with Achieving Manufacturing Excellence Level 1 criteria

Required

B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, Materials, or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing leadership
Experience with project management
Experiencing working effectively on all levels of an organization
Understanding and application of Quality and Lean principles
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to identify gaps and work across groups to identify solutions

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering
Operations Experience
Knowledge of cable products, processes, and product flow
Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
