Responsibilities

Take the lead on complex SQL Server and Postgres design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Support effort to migrate and integrate data between SQL Server and Postgres environments

Contribute to our .NET MVC web applications (C#, Kendo/Telerik, front-end integrations)

Work alongside a small team of developers in a collaborative environment

Help shape best practices for data access, schema design, and performance across our applications

Qualification

Required

7-10 years of professional experience in software/database development

Strong knowledge of SQL Server schema design and optimization

Solid experience with Postgres, including performance tuning and cross-platform data considerations

Working knowledge in C# / .NET MVC web development

Comfort working in a small team where you may wear multiple hats

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues

Preferred

Experience with JavaScript

Familiarity with DoD contract work and software environments

Background in both application and database architecture
