Account Executive, New Business/NTR
CBS News and Stations is on a mission to unleash the power of content and is seeking an Account Executive for their Non-Traditional Revenue team. The role involves achieving sales goals, developing relationships with media buyers, and cultivating new business clients across digital and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly sales goals
Develop and maintain strong relationship with media buyers and others at ad agencies
Effectively research and cultivate new business clients
Create, manage, & scale the revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies & partners
Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television station’s during the sales process
Collaborate and relationship-build across various internal departments including sales, marketing, traffic, finance as well as external (3rd party) vendors
Communicate well with station management
Provide solid forecast information on account list
Handle all paperwork in a timely matter
Embrace the CTS-Corporate pillars of Content, Culture, & Community
Qualification
Required
Strong presentation and communication skills
Experience working with advertising agencies
Embrace selling all digital and streaming platforms
Achieve quarterly sales goals
Develop and maintain strong relationship with media buyers and others at ad agencies
Effectively research and cultivate new business clients
Create, manage, & scale the revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies & partners
Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television station's during the sales process
Collaborate and relationship-build across various internal departments including sales, marketing, traffic, finance as well as external (3rd party) vendors
Communicate well with station management

Bachelor's degree
5 years of ad sales experience, ad sales planning experience or TV buying experience/media planning at any agency preferred
A strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional and thrive in a team environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong written communication and ability to think creatively
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment
Proven experience working with FreeWheel, Salesforce, operative and/or WideOrbit
Preferred
Media sales experience working internally or with another broadcast organization or advertising agency
Ability to simplify complex concepts & define value propositions on behalf of CTS
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Wide Orbit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
