The Quality Technician/Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) will manage all Quality functions for 2nd shift Assembly and ensure the inspection and acceptance of hardware on behalf of the customer, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Manages all Quality functions for assembly program supporting 2nd shift operation
Review and accept hardware on behalf of customers prior to delivery as DQSR, including generation of conformance certificates and all acceptance documentation
Obtain and maintain FAA certification to provide Aircraft On Ground (AOG) support
Acts as the Point of Contact for 2nd shift inspectors
Assists with development of Root Cause/Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.)
Provide Quality support and assistance with Inspection personnel while performing First Article inspections
Processes all Nonconformance Items and Workflows in a timely manner
Solicits weekly prioritization of tasks and deliverables that align with business objectives
Qualification
Required
High school diploma / GED with at least 2 years experience in Manufacturing or Quality
Knowledge of Aerospace / DOD / assembly line experience is highly preferred
Acquire and maintain multiple customer representative certifications for acceptance of hardware
Knowledge and experience for problem solving techniques such 5 why's, Fishbone, Process mapping, etc. to identify root cause and define CAPA
Must be able to work 1st shift for three months before transitioning to 2nd shift
This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization

Willingness to support business needs as required to meet company objectives
Maintain customer required inspection reports
Work with Program QE on resolution of customer identified quality issues
Perform inspections across all stages of production
Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills
Ability to multitask and handles tasks with competing priorities effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail oriented and strong computer skills
Preferred
Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in Production Quality
Working knowledge of PPAP and APQP, AS9145, ISO9000 / AS9100
