HII Mission Technologies is hiring a Somali Cryptologic Language Analyst to support our cutting-edge Cyber and Intelligence Team at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role involves translating and processing Somali language materials to inform critical decision-making and contributing directly to cybersecurity efforts against evolving threats.

Responsibilities

Translate and process Somali language materials/data that inform critical decision-making

Contribute directly to cybersecurity efforts that protect against evolving threat actors

Collaborate with cyber experts who are redefining how intelligence powers national defense

Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information

Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language

Performing quality control on language processing activities

Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases

Drafting intelligence reports

Required

2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years of experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience

Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Somali into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
