Bobcat Company is a leading global manufacturer of construction, agriculture, landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment. They are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to develop embedded software and participate in testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and/or Matlab/Simulink

Create and execute unit, hardware, and on-machine tests to ensure software quality and functionality

Participate in code reviews, manage requirements, and utilize project tracking systems

Operate equipment, construct electrical harnesses, log, and analyze test data

Required

Sophomore, Junior, Senior standing in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or equivalent

3.0 or higher GPA preferred

Be able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4-months)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
