They are seeking an Accountant to manage financial statements and accounting processes for designated schools within the Americas region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations and analysis for schools

Assist in budgeting and forecasting process, including monthly variance analysis

Assist with capital expenditure and fixed asset accounting

Reconcile inter-company accounts between schools

Support month-end and year-end close process

Collaborate with schools in all accounting and finance matters

Accountant duties and responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to support school finance teams and FP&A

Analyze accounting data to support insightful decision making

Prepare schedules for annual audit and provide support, as needed

Ensure department transactions are processed in accordance with company-prescribed controls and policies

Ad hoc projects as assigned

Act as an ambassador for employee engagement, driving change and supporting two-way communication through regular contact with schools

Develop the skillset of school finance personnel through training
