Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate courses in the mechanical engineering technology program (i.e. CNC, Machining and Programming, and other manufacturing courses, etc.)

Qualification

CNC machiningSolidWorks CertificationGD&T interpretationMechanical engineeringEngineering degreeCollege level teachingOnline teachingProfessional Engineering license

Required

At least 7 years of exceptional professional experience related to the courses being taught

Preferred

An earned bachelors, masters or doctoral degree, or its foreign equivalent, in engineering or closely related field
Knowledge of general machining operations: turning (manual/CNC), milling (manual/CNC), shaping, sawing, grinding, etc
Knowledge of ASME-based best-practices for engineering drawings
Knowledge of GD&T interpretation
Knowledge of Y14.5-2018
Knowledge of tolerances and tolerance/ process relationships
Certified SolidWorks Professional Certification or better
SolidWorks advanced certification in Weldments, Sheet Metal, Drawings, Customization, and Surfacing preferred
Expertise in Top-down and Bottom-up design techniques
Expertise in mechanics and/or welding is a plus
Significant relevant work experience
Professional Engineering license
College level teaching, and online
Unofficial Transcripts (Official Transcripts and Official International Course-by-Course Evaluations Due Upon Hire)
