LP Building Solutions is a leading provider of high-performance building solutions, and they are seeking a Summer Intern to support their FP&A Business Insights team. The intern will work with analytics tools and participate in data validation to support business functions while learning about data quality and business requirements.

Responsibilities

Work with the Analytics and BI Insights team and use visualization tools such as Tableau, and Power BI to create your own dashboard
Participate in data validation of our reports built to support our businesses and functions
Learn how to translate business requirements into functional requirements
Learn the importance of data quality when making decisions
Learn how to tell a story with data
Meet with Business and technology leaders to understand how data helps drive our business decisions
Work with the IT data engineering department to learn how to connect to, query and model data in our cloud data warehouse, snowflake

Required

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Familiarity with SQL

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Computer Science
Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
