Inside Sales Manager

James Hardie is the industry leader in exterior home and outdoor living solutions, and they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead their inside sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through strategic account management, lead conversion, and customer engagement, focusing on expanding their footprint in the residential construction ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
Create and shepherd inside sales strategy
Communicate key customer insight findings and recommendations
Manage inbound and outbound sales activities, including lead qualification, quoting, and order processing
Build and maintain strong relationships with home builders, dealers, architects, and retail partners
Collaborate with marketing and field sales teams to align campaigns and drive product awareness
Analyze sales metrics and pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Ensure CRM systems are accurately maintained and leveraged for reporting and forecasting
Resolve customer issues and inquiries with professionalism and urgency
Support product launches and promotions with targeted outreach and follow-up

Required

5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in building materials or construction-related industries
2+ years of team leadership or management experience
Selling to B2B accounts such as builders, dealers, and retail chains
Utilizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Able to present in front of large groups and convey messages in a captivating manner
Market Awareness: understands competitive landscape and customer buying behavior
Business/Financial Acumen: specifically regarding the construction industry
Sale Process: funnel management, and good sales practices
Ability to work with a CRM (Safesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
