Responsibilities

Define NFC compliance and validation related requirements, DVT/SVT coverage plan and interface with chipset vendor to review test reports. Ensure DVT/SVT open issues are resolved prior to intercepting to product build
Define Product validation test plan, bring up device under test, complete validation and root cause technical issues independently for assigned products
Debug technical issues independently, propose fixes and collaborate with cross functional teams towards integrating the fixes
Provide insights and trade off analysis for NFC fixes. Optimize NFC system performance using design knobs to comply to industrial conformity and maximize user experience
Support NFC card mode and reader mode Certification of Apple products across WW requirements (EMVCo, FeliCa, China Transit)
Support NFC testing at 3rd party lab and at manufacturing site to gather data over parts and enable quick feedback to design team
Participate in feasibility studies to confirm future products designs or new NFC use cases

Required

Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge in NFC
Experience with using RF lab test equipment

Preferred

Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge of transceiver architecture and RF front-end characteristics that impact NFC system level RF parametric including field strength and sensitivity
Practical knowledge of NFC technology including its standards (ISO14443, EMVCo) including performance requirements, conformance requirements and required testing methodologies
Experience with test evaluation and hands-on debug of troubleshooting NFC
Hands-on experience with RF equipments such as network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of MAC/PHY Layer and application layer for NFC
Proficiency at HFSS/CST simulations to model/analyze wireless HW issues
Knowledge of Python, to help define new requirements and debug of our test automation
