Responsibilities

Tackle the most critical and ambiguous research questions facing the company, particularly those that span multiple product verticals or inform major strategic decisions
Use mixed-methods approaches to surface insights that create clarity and drive action
Translate complex findings into compelling narratives tailored for executive audiences who need to make decisions quickly
Manage and develop a team of approximately 5 UX researchers, creating a culture of rigor, trust, curiosity, and continuous learning
Provide coaching tailored to each researcher's experience level and career aspirations, from helping early-career researchers build foundational skills to supporting senior researchers in expanding their strategic impact
Partner with Principal Researchers embedded in product verticals to ensure alignment, remove blockers, and share learnings across the organization
Build the systems, tools, and processes that enable researchers across VistaPrint to do their best work efficiently and consistently
Develop best practices for participant recruitment, study design, knowledge management, and insight sharing that scale across a distributed organization
Create the operational foundation that allows research to keep pace with product team velocity while maintaining quality

Required

Experience managing and developing UX researchers, with a track record of building high-performing teams through thoughtful coaching, feedback, and career development
Strong operational mindset with experience building or scaling ResearchOps by establishing the systems, tools, and processes that enable research teams to work efficiently and consistently
Still hands-on: You're a skilled mixed-methods researcher who can lead complex research projects that inform major decisions, especially in ambiguous or cross-cutting problem spaces
Pragmatic and impact-focused. You care about getting to answers that drive decisions, not perfecting research processes for their own sake
Experience working in continuous discovery environments or with empowered product teams where research informs what to build, not just how to build it
Excellent at synthesizing complexity and telling compelling stories with data, particularly for executive audiences who need to make decisions quickly
Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting between coaching conversations, operational improvements, and leading strategic research projects
