Responsibilities
Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping. Implement and refine operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff. Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and conduct performance evaluations to foster a productive and motivated work environment
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts. Implement systems to optimize storage space and manage product flow
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal departments (e.g., procurement, production, customer service) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Maintain a clean and secure work environment and oversee the regular maintenance of all equipment and machinery
Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, and labor costs. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for continuous improvement
Budgeting: Contribute to the development and management of the annual warehouse budget, scheduling expenditures and analyzing variances to meet financial objectives
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance warehouse functionality and streamline the supply chain

Qualification
Required
7 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and optimizing warehouse operations
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
Deep knowledge of supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve operational and performance goals
Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and improve processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with staff, senior management, and external partners
Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail
Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs
Ability to operate or oversee the use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus)
