Responsibilities
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals
Performs preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals
Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area
Performs electrical/mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical production equipment used in the Fab
Performs set-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Rebuilds and repairs manufacturing equipment as required
Performs equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering
Works on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community
Opportunity to participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team
Qualification
Required
HS diploma with 4 years of experience in a production and/or faced pace environment
Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments
Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps during removal and installation
Pass a respiratory protection medical surveillance examination (if participating on the ERT team or a specific toolset)
Have a depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process
Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to work the overnight and compressed shift
