As a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer, you will support the Customer Solutions Manager by understanding customer needs and drafting proposals for engineering improvements to the AP1000® Plant design, while collaborating with various teams to address customer challenges and ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Leverage customer relationships to facilitate understanding of customer needs and ultimately support proposals with strong value proposition to meet customer needs and secure OE

Use data to monitor market trends, customer buying patterns and competitor moves to adjust product positioning

Support SV3/4 engineering activities to aggregate product financials as well as regular financial forecasting

Support SV3/4 Engineering activities to develop resource demand signal for GOS engineering and manufacturing

Engage on emergent customer issues, leading team as needed until full engineering team is available and engaged, ultimately working with collective team to develop technical and commercial solution

Collaborate with project teams to understand status of projects, supporting resolution of challenges during project execution

Ensure good understanding of Intellectual Property aspects of offers and ongoing projects; facilitate needed discussions to develop position on IP

Collaborate and co-ordinate with peers in OMS to ensure cohesive approach to market and holistic customer support and satisfaction (e.g., FAC inspections + FAC program engineering)

Collaborate with global product management on product strategy, product roadmaps, technology roadmaps, innovation ideas, etc
