Responsibilities
Analyzing proposal documents
Performing quantity takeoffs
Incorporating historical data to support accurate cost and labor estimates
Helping prepare bid and procedure packages
Supporting the development and maintenance of construction schedules
Managing construction documentation such as logs, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes
Tracking material deliveries
Assisting with project status reporting
Attending project meetings
Supporting project close-out activities
Qualification
Required
The preferred candidate will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and have 1-5 years of experience; 5-10 years preferred
Familiar with the civil aspects of construction: concrete, rebar, soils, underground utilities, drainage etc
Willing to travel over 50% of the time on assignments, following a training and acclimation period in NJ. Temporary relocation may be required anywhere from 6 to 18 months depending on project
Must have excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience with Primavera, AutoCad is desired but not required
