Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and operators
Schedule and assign tasks to ensure coverage and productivity
Provide training on automation systems, safety protocols, and troubleshooting procedures
Monitor and maintain automated equipment including robotics, PLCs, SCADA systems, and vision systems
Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to equipment failures
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement system upgrades and improvements
Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Lead root cause analysis for technical issues affecting production
Provide hands-on support for complex equipment malfunctions
Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides and system configurations
Enforce safety standards and ensure team adherence to procedures
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations
Qualification
Required
Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or technical lead role
Strong knowledge of automated systems, robotics, PLC programming, and industrial networks
Experience with MES, ERP, and CMMS systems
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Experience in Lean manufacturing
Experience with industry 4.0 technologies
Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other quality systems depending on industry
