Responsibilities
Drive sales, profitability and awareness of Dorman Products with Walmart, & other retailers, in support of annual business plan achievement
In an effort to increase sales, work cross-functionally at Dorman to optimize inventory/deployment and manage product lifecycles within existing categories and gain new/competitive share in non-supported categories
Responsible for building strong cross functional relationships with Walmart and gaining expert knowledge on the customer's go to market strategy
Partner with Walmart to create and deliver upon strategic joint business plans, implement omnichannel promotional events through Walmart Connect and conduct regular line reviews
In order to serve the customer better, the candidate needs to be competent in data analysis, reporting and forecasting activities and well versed in fact-based sales techniques
Work with customers in major customer events, including remote locations, factory visits and potentially attending industry events
Overnight travel will be required to fulfill attendance at such events
Proactively communicate any competitive risks, opportunities and new product ideas back to corporate
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
Fluent in the necessary Walmart systems, including but not limited to: Scintilla, Supplier One, Bamboo Rose, Retail Link, QMS, and other
Self-starter that thrives in a remote office setting with the ability to same day call on Walmart HQ located in Bentonville, Arkansas
Fact-based competitive selling experience
Ability to travel 20%+ of the time
Bachelor's degree in business, automotive technology or a related field required
5+ years of applicable experience with Walmart both in-store and online
Educated in financial analysis capabilities, P&L responsibilities and monitoring the performance of publicly traded companies
