Lab Research Analyst II

Responsibilities
Build and maintain SAS workflows that import, clean, and organize claims data; run quality checks; and keep clear documentation (Base/Macro/SQL; PROC FREQ/MEANS/SUMMARY; formats). Construct analytic cohorts from Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial claims; map ICD‑10‑CM, CPT/HCPCS, DRG, NDC, revenue codes; derive episodes and utilization/cost measures
Implement study designs and analytic approaches (e.g., DiD, interrupted time series, matching/weighting, panel/fixed effects); run analyses in SAS and, where useful, Stata
Serves as contributing author for protocols, reports, and manuscripts
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Strong SAS programming skills (Stata experience also beneficial)
Master's degree level familiarity with statistical analysis, preferably in large health insurance claims datasets
Familiarity with the research process, from data acquisition and cleaning to statistical analysis to manuscript preparation
Capable of conducting high-quality SAS programming
