Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage pre-award financial activities associated with oncology industry and investigator initiated clinical research trials
Communicate regularly with Industry sponsors/CRO, Principal Investigator, research team members, the Division of Sponsored Program Administration, OnCore staff and other internal as well as external entities involved in budget and contract negotiation
Review clinical trial documents to conduct coverage analysis in OnCore while analyzing Medicare benefit policies congruent with medical practice guidelines related to study specific interventions
Review contractual agreements with industry sponsors in conjunction with Augusta University Departments to ensure language is in congruency with Institutional guidelines
Attending regularly scheduled departmental and institutional meetings as required
Conduct reviews of amended protocols, submitting OnCore calendar changes if required and route amended contracts for review
Provide training to clinical research staff on study billing grid in OnCore as needed. Assist post award accountants with training

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of eight years progressive grant management, resources management and quality assurance program development
Preferred
Proficiency with computers
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
