Product & Aftermarket Support Development Associate- Chicago, IL

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Product & Aftermarket Support Development Associate who will be immersed in a structured learning environment during a targeted thirty-six month rotation program. The role involves participating in training across various core areas of the business and may require short-term relocations to manufacturing plants or distributors.

Responsibilities

Participate in an enhanced training program that will prepare for the candidate’s full-time placement into one following core areas of the business within Komatsu’s Product and Aftermarket Support Division: Marketing Engineering, Product Marketing, Intelligent Machine Control (iMC), Product Technical Support, Quality Engineering
Relocate to one of our manufacturing plants for a short period of time and/or distributors located within the US in order to gain exposure from the critical areas of our business

Required

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mining Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization or Technical Systems Management from an accredited college/university/ trade school
Entry Level, recently graduated (1-3 years)
Must have excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines and work and thrive in a fast paced environment
Ability to handle pressure
Strong motivation to make contributions to Komatsu and to drive results
Must have an interest in capital goods / heavy equipment (Construction, Forestry and Mining Support Equipment)
CAD experience, preferably ProE/Creo
High proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically with Pivot Tables, V-look ups and other reporting tools
Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to relocate for short term assignments
Must be able to travel with no restrictions

Preferred

Prior experience with work study programs, school or volunteer leadership roles, participated on teams or in clubs, professional organizations, etc
Prior internship with a heavy equipment or automotive manufacturer
Proven/ completed software development projects
Experience in Power apps/ Power BI and A.I. Platforms
