The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support the New Product Development and Operations Support Team by assisting in data collection, process improvement, and project management related to manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and other subject matter experts in information and data collection
Based on data and facts, make recommendations from the findings
Develop, improve, and audit current processes or documentation
Support projects associated with management of Supply-Base Tooling
Develop fixtures and assembly aids for new product projects
Analyze parts using design for manufacturability and assembly principles
Provide periodic updates on project assignments to Advanced Manufacturing Management
Create a PowerPoint summary of internship accomplishments for presentation at the end of the summer
Flexibility to address special projects as they arise
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering or related technical Program
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Resourceful and a self-starter
Strong professionalism
Preferred
Experience with 3D modeling software preferred
Junior or senior standing preferred
