Responsibilities
Leads software design, development, and implementation of modernization tools and applications
Applies Agile and DevSecOps principles to support iterative development and deployment
Oversees code reviews, integration testing, and version control
Coordinates with systems engineers and database administrators to ensure interoperability
Implements cybersecurity controls and compliance standards in software systems
Prepares software documentation, release notes, and user manuals
Provides technical direction to mid and junior-level developers
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience with software engineering
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
Demonstrated experience in the application of Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps
Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certification
Interim or active Secret Clearance
Preferred
Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience with DOD/Navy Software Engineering
Experience with DoD/DoN Procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
