They are seeking a PA IC Design Summer/Fall Co-Op where the intern will work alongside experienced engineers to design and develop RFIC for multi-chip modules, gaining valuable technical knowledge and experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

Working with experienced engineers to design/develop RFIC for Multi-chip modules
Designing RF power amplifiers
Running simulations using design tools such as Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS
Participating and presenting in design reviews
Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
Troubleshooting and resolving design or technical issues
Collaborating with other engineers and technicians

Required

Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs
Commitment to working on-site for up to 6 months (June - December 2026)
Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
Strong career interest in power amplifier design and RF/microwave engineering
Familiar with amplifier modes of operation: Class A, AB, C, E, F and load modulation techniques such as Doherty PA design
Familiar with DPD, and memory effects, and how those impact PA design
Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred

Experience with Keysight ADS
Hands-on experience in the lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments
Understanding in HBT technology
