Responsibilities

Train as a Hull - Master Tradesperson within HII-Mission Technologies, reporting to a designated HII Supervisor, with the goal of learning Master Tradesperson basics and principles

Be assigned special projects as needed

Develop skills needed to be presented with a problem, design solutions, fabricate the solutions, test the product, and make alterations based on feedback

Develop a good understanding of the tradesperson equipment, including operation, configuration, and maintenance of Hull equipment

Fabricate, test AFFF systems, Water Tight / Air Tight Doors, Hatches and scuttles, ability to troubleshoot train sailors on how to repair damage control closures, valve and pump repair and overhaul and customer interaction

Read blueprints and research Technical Manuals
