Field Technician

Responsibilities

Complete assigned jobs within flat rate times to keep operations running smoothly
Adhere to KEC/Customer safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation
Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations meticulously
Perform parts removal/installation, component assembly/disassembly, and testing with precision
Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers, ensuring transparency and trust
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and recommend effective repairs
Ensure the correct operation of all repairs to maintain high standards
Apply failure analysis techniques for accurate diagnosis and repair

Qualification

Diesel TechnologyForklift CertificationMSHA CertificationBasic Mechanics ToolsProblem Solving

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent
Ability to work various schedules to meet operational needs
Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift
May need to complete a DOT physical
MSHA certification required
Respirator certification may be needed
Basic mechanics tools as per Komatsu's technician tool list
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Be prepared to work in varying conditions, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and occasional extreme elements

Preferred

Associate degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent
