Responsibilities

Support fuel assembly and components thermal-hydraulic testing activities for nuclear fuel development projects
Develop knowledge of nuclear steam supply systems, fuel assembly mechanical design, and structure of reactor core internals
Develop knowledge of fluid Mechanics in reactors, fuel assembly and fuel rod vibration, heat transfer in reactors and core components, fretting wear, and departure from nucleate boiling thermal analysis
Work with internal departments to support nuclear fuel projects

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus in thermal hydraulics
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completed Sophomore year of college
Experience in analysis and testing
Completed coursework in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics or equivalent classes
Experience with MATLAB, Linux, LabVIEW
